Crispy moongdal namkeen
Simple super snack from the heart of India
Ingredients
- 1 cup Moongdal
- 2 cups Cooking oil
Masala Powder
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp Dry Mango powder
Instructions
- Wash Moongdal in water and soak overnight
- Drain the water and spread the Moongdal on a clean towel to absorb any excess water
- Transfer to a plate and let it dry completely
- Deep fry the moongdal in hot oil
- Once it turns golden brown, transfer to a bowl
- Prepare masala powder by mixing chilli powder, salt, dry mango powder
- Sprinkle the masala powder according to taste and mix well
